Critics and fans alike applauded Tom Hardy and Shia LaBeouf's roles in Lawless. Funny enough, neither of the men was impressed with the other. Director John Hillcoat had said that he was frustrated with the drama on set most of the time. "There was definitely a fight between them. It escalated to the point where they both had to be restrained."
