Be wary of your coins, Hawaiians. You aren't allowed to place a coin in your ear in the Rainbow State. This law was enacted to protect the Kingdom of Hawaii coinage. 

Funny enough, the law was put into place after the United States annexed Hawaii in 1900. The country wanted to make sure the ancestral coins weren't put anywhere that they shouldn't be!
