Richard Donner directed massive box office hits like "The Omen," "Superman," "The Goonies," and "Lethal Weapon." He began his career directing for television but hit it big when he switched to film. He passed away in June at the age of 91.

John Madden - 85

John Madden, HoF football coach and broadcaster died on December 28th at the age of 85. He won a Super Bowl coaching the Raiders in 1976, and once he retired from coaching he began an illustrious career broadcasting for CBS Sports.
