Filmmaker Jean-Marc Vallee was found dead of a suspected heart-attack in Quebec City, Canada at the age of 58. He directed award-winning films like "Dallas Buyers Club," "Wild," and "The Young Victoria." Most recently he directed "Big Little Lies" and "Sharp Objects," and won an Emmy for "Big Little Lies."

Michael Nesmith - 78

Guitarist for The Monkees, Michael Newsmith, passed away in December at the age of 78. Outside of The Monkess, he worked for several years as a songwriter.
