Ancient Egyptians buried their pharaohs in the pyramids; they associated our solar system's galaxy with fertility, believing the image above was a pool of cow's milk flowing from their cow goddess, Bat. The pyramids' locations correspond to Orion's Belt, which is part of the Orion constellation associated with the Egyptian god of afterlife and rebirth, Osiris.
