It's always best to hang artwork at eye-level. Have you ever gone into an art gallery and saw that the artwork was hung all the way up at the ceiling? No, of course you haven't. A good rule of thumb is to make sure that you're hanging artwork no more than 60 inches from the floor, depending on your ceiling height.
