Taia Mallet, Goldfinger
Tania Mallet's modeling portfolio was sent to the Bond producers, and she landed the role of Tilly Masterson based on her photos. The photo that stood out, in particular, was a swimsuit shot while lying on some rocks. She also tested for Bianchi's role in From Russia With Love but landed Tilly.
A Model For the Ages
Unfortunately, Mallet died in 2019 at the age of 77. She had appeared in one more film, 1976's The New Avengers, before returning to modeling. She always knew the direction her career was going, and it wasn't toward film.
