Hef worked with his staff to develop a menu that he thought was suitable for everyone in his vicinity to enjoy. He largely included his mother's recipes, so there was a lot of midwestern cooking. He even had his kitchen staff bring him dishes to his favorite restaurants, which he would go to in an effort to flex on other people with his dates.
