Strange Desert Art
This is one of the most talked-about Google Earth sites to date. Based on the Red Sea Governorate, Egypt, there is no back story to this one. These are most likely human-made craters, but why were they made in the first place?
Located in New Castle, Colorado, these concentric circles are part of a sod pasture. These circles pre-sseparate the sod into already measured pieces, so when it's time to harvest, the farmer can sell the sod at a standardized fare.
