She didn't look bad, but she also didn't look anything like herself. She has a right to do whatever she wants to her body and was apparently pretty hurt by the criticism.

He went in for a kiss on the cheek, but the encounter turned weird really fast when his hand ended up on her waist and she looked visibly uncomfortable.
