Jackson also was a lover of animals. He owned a monkey named Bubbles! During the ’80s, Jackson bought the primate, a baby chimpanzee, from a Texas monkey research facility. The two were inseparable. They ate together, walked around together, and lived in the same house as friends. 

Bubbles Moves On

As Bubbles grew up though, he became really strong. Stronger than Jackson was able to deal with, and he wanted to return him to a safe place. Eventually, he donated Bubbles to the Center for Great Apes in Florida. The chimp lived out his days with a primate BFF named Sam, painting and eating their days away.
