In addition to the theme parks, trains, dance studios, and more, there were also several gardens. The gardens were decorated, like everything else, with statues of dancing or playing kids. Most of these were put up for auction after the death of Michael Jackson, along with the glove and fairytale castle. 

What Reason?

No one really knew where Jackson got his fascination with childhood. Some believe it was a pang of repressed guilt in reference to the child sexual abuse allegations against the singer. Others say it was a coping mechanism for a particularly traumatizing childhood. Even more, say he was giving himself the childhood he never received.
