Then, she graduated and attended the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University where her career really started to gain traction.

Up until the 1950s, cheerleading was actually a predominantly male sport. Choate Preparatory School was where this Douglas learned to cheer, chant, tumble, and stunt as well as the rest of them.
