National Lampoon and SNL star Chevy Chase has a pretty tumultuous history in Hollywood. Despite being one of the most in-demand comedy actors in the 1970s and 80s, he was a trainwreck of a person to work with. He had troubles with addiction and was known for being callous (and sometimes racist) on set. Despite being a funny guy, he doesn't know how to take a joke, and hated his time during a celebrity roast. 

Christmas Vacation

Arguably one of the most popular holiday movies, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, Chevy Chase can take credit for raising that film through the ranks. However, that's likely where his positive outlook on Hollywood ends. During his time on Community, co-star Donald Glover recalls that he created a racist and uncomfortable environment.
