Following the Tsunami that killed thousands of Japanese people, he wrote "Japan is really advanced. They don’t go to the beach, the beach comes to them." Aflac — based in Japan — dropped him immediately. 

Paula Deen

Celebrity chef Paula Deen was put under fire after it was revealed that her workplace is an environment of "violent, sexist, and racist behavior in her restaurants." Then it broke that Deen freely uses racial slurs, and instead of a pologizing, she deflected the criticism and played the victim instead.
