Pretentious art kids aside, The Doors had their moments (as all bands do) but their flame quickly went out. After Morrison passed, the remaining members tried their own projects but didn't have too much success.

In Saving Private Ryan, all of the main cast were given basic military training except Matt Damon, in the hope that the cast would build a resentment towards him necessary for the role.
