Montana hates rats, apparently. It's unlawful to gift, raise, or sell rats as pets. Rats are totally permitted as prey animals for birds and reptiles, though.

Nebraska

If you're planning on getting married, maybe keep your venereal disease to yourself. In Nebraska, it's unlawful for a person afflicted with a "venereal disease" (AKA an STI) to get married.
