Montana hates rats, apparently. It's unlawful to gift, raise, or sell rats as pets. Rats are totally permitted as prey animals for birds and reptiles, though.

Nebraska

If you're planning on getting married, maybe keep your venereal disease to yourself. In Nebraska, it's unlawful for a person afflicted with a "venereal disease" (AKA an STI) to get married.

The 442nd Infantry Regiment, a largely Japanese American unit that served during WWII, did so while their families were held in internment camps. Their motto was "Go for Broke" and they were the most decorated unit in U.S. military history.
