It was obvious even in the '50s. All About Eve follows the story of a 40-year-old actress (Bette Davis) as her career becomes threatened by a new, younger actress named Eve (Marilyn Monroe). Watching this film in 2021 offers a great insight into what Hollywood was like back in the day and how it hasn't truly changed for the better.
