For example, Nick (Jake Johnson) and Schmidt (Max Greenfield) ended up improvising their brotherly kisses to one another! Johnson has said that Greenfield has kissed him more times than any girl he's dated.

The improvised kisses didn't always make it to the episode, but it finally did near the end. In the scene where Schmidt finds out that Nick has a medical condition, he goes and aggressively kisses Nick all over the face and mouth. Greenfield said that Johnson didn't like it at first but has gotten used to them!
