Richard Branson dumps his drink on Stephen Colbert

When billionaire Richard Branson appeared on The Colbert Report in 2007 to promote Virgin American Airlines, the last thing anyone was expected was an on-air altercation. The segment ended before Branson had the chance to promote the airline by name. After throwing a tantrum, Branson threw water from his mug at the late-night talk show host.

Colbert, surprised, had a staffer retrieve a bottle of water for him to dump on Branson. It remains unclear whether this was staged or intentional, but most assumptions lean toward the former.
