The Shop Around the Corner (1940)

Two pen pals in Budapest have fallen in love with each other just through their words alone. In a fun twist, the pen pals turn out to be two co-workers who consistently feud with each other. They have no idea that they are actually writing to one another!

Hugh Grant is rom-com gold, and don't forget it. His role in Notting Hill was just as good as the rest of his films. Grant plays Richard Curtis, a love-struck man chasing after movie star Anna Scott, played by Julia Roberts.
