Barbara Walters is one of the most famous female broadcasters of all-time. Walters began hosting television in the early 1960s, earning notoriety for her high-profile interviews, including an interview with Monica Lewinsky in 1999 that attracted the most viewers in TV history. She is best known for her time on Today, ABC Evening News, 20/20, and The View. Walters retired from broadcast journalism in 2015.
