Best known for her role on The Jeffersons, a famous sitcom that aired from 1975 to 1985, Marla Gibbs is a multitalented actress. Marla is a celebrated actress, singer, comedian, writer, and producer, and has been active since 1973. She had five nominations for a Primetime Emmy Award, for her role as George Jefferson’s maid, Florence Johnston, on The Jeffersons. Marla is still active in Hollywood and, in 2018 she appeared on Please Stand By, Love Jacked, and HeadShop. At 90, she is still making waves.
