Clarence Williams III was born with entertainment in his blood. He served as a paratrooper in the US Army before he headed to Broadway. He passed away from colon cancer in June at the age of 81.

Janet Malcolm - 86

was an American writer, journalist on staff at The New Yorker magazine, and collagist. She wrote The Journalist and the Murderer in 1990, which became a mainstay of journalism-school curiculum.
