Pete Davidson Assembles Star-Studded Cast to Perform "It's a Wonderful Life" Table Read

Pete Davidson is getting ready to play the "richest man in town."

Davidson, alongside Ellie Kemper, BD Wong, Bill Pullman, and plenty of others, will be performing a virtual table read of the Christmas classic It's a Wonderful Life—and it's for a good cause.

The event will take place on Sunday, December 13, at 8 p.m. EST/5 p.m. PST, and all funds raised will go to the Ed Asner Family Center, an organization that helps special needs children and their families through counseling and other programs, including mindfulness and the arts.

Tickets to the performance are $50 each, and only one ticket per household is necessary to watch the performance. The larger the donation, the bigger the perk—for instance, the $100 exclusive holiday gift pack comes with a copy of The Greatest Gift, which inspired the 1946 movie, as well as other goodies.

Davidson will be playing Jimmy Stewart's George Bailey, a man who gets to see what the world would be like if he'd never been born. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, table reads have become increasingly popular. Hopefully, this one lives up to the hype.
