Husband Zoom Bombs Wife's Calls by Dressing Up in Hilarious Costumes

What exactly is a "zoom bomb," you ask? Well, it's a term for unwanted intruders disrupting a video call—and Cara Fields' husband is the king of it.

"My husband has a new quarantine hobby of Zoom bombing my conference calls. The colleagues I'm meeting with always see him before I do. Never a dull moment in this household," she shared on LinkedIn.

Fields, the Marketing Chief of Staff at an animal health company called Elanco, showcased her husband's sneaky yet hilarious antics for everyone outside her Zoom conference calls to see.

"He has always loved wearing ridiculous things in public to embarrass me," said Cara. "So when I converted our dining room into an office where my camera faced the dining room table, he saw a virtual opportunity to embarrass me during the pandemic."

In the beginning, Cara's husband wore things he happened to own, like Hawaiian shirts and cowboy hats. Then, things began to escalate.

"Friends started mailing him Halloween costumes. I’m told that more costumes are in transit!" she added.
