Chrissy Teigen Gets Heartfelt Tattoo for Son Jack After Pregnancy Loss

Chrissy Teigen shared a photo of a new tattoo on her wrist following the loss of her son Jack at just 20 weeks pregnant. It details his name in delicate cursive script. She posted the photo while out on a date night with husband John Legend, and the tattoo is located near another set of ink dedicated to her family. That one reads "John - Luna - Miles" in honor of the couple's toddler son and daughter.

Legend has a matching tattoo that reads "Chrissy - Luna - Miles" to coordinate with Teigen's. The LA-based artist Winter Stone is responsible for all of their meaningful ink. Last week, Teigen returned to social media with the publication of a deeply personal essay that detailed the traumatic pregnancy loss she and her family endured earlier last month. "Late one night, I was told it would be time to let go in the morning. I cried a little at first, then went into full-blown convulsions of snot and tears, my breath not able to catch up with my own incredibly deep sadness,” she wrote. She had been diagnosed with partial placenta abruption.

"Even as I write this now, I can feel the pain all over again," she continued. "People say an experience like this creates a hole in your heart," she added. "A hole was certainly made, but it was filled with the love of something I loved so much. It doesn’t feel empty, this space. It feels full."
