Once called "the hardest working man in show business," Philbin holds the current Guinness World Record for the most hours appearing on U.S. television.

Kobe Bryant

Basketball legend Kobe Bryant passed away this year in a helicopter crash that also killed his daughter as well as seven other occupants. The shooting guard spent his entire sports career with the Los Angeles Lakers, lasting about 20 years. He is survived by his wife and 3 daughters.
